ive been back and fourth with the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ideots on the EA support team for 2 weeks and nothing has fixed the issue. when i launch the game i get stuck ^title of post^" screen with 2 selections "install EA Anticheat" "Exit" now i have gone the rout to install it about 20+ time and it still happens. went and uninstalled the game and reinstalled it still not working ea sent me the manual download for it and even that ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ fails on installing,updating, and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ repairing. ive gotten to the point where i am about to say ♥♥♥♥ ea and all there ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ products because its issue after issue with there ♥♥♥♥ launcher even if the game is perchased through gog or steam it requires there ♥♥♥♥ ea launcher. has any one had this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ issue and if you have did you fine a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ fix for it because i bought this game for $50 and i feel like i was ♥♥♥♥♥♥ out of my money

Same problem some times when windows gets an update. You need to repair(reset) the anticheat install, navigate the game folder:

\Steam\steamapps\common\Battlefield 2042\EAAntiCheat

run the EAAntiCheat.Installer.exe

When it opens in the upper top bar/select menu, select the game in this case bf2042, then hit Repair button, it will ask you to select the game folder so same route as above but only the bf2042 folder: \Steam\steamapps\common\Battlefield 2042, let it do it's thing then when it finish hit the update button.

Now the hard part depending of which anti-virus you use google how to whitelist a program and whitelist BF2042 whole folder. Try again if still the same no idea send a ticket to EA and pray they do not follow a script

antivirous is viper. and whatever i do on the manual ea anticheat installer even wen i select the game folder it comes up with failed

- SafeMode with Networking
- Run the "EA AntiCheat" installer as Administrator
- Choose "Battlefield 2042" from the dropdown
- Choose the "Repair" option
- Point to the "\Steam\steamapps\common\Battlefield 2042\" folder

Installation was successful.

Reboot into normal Windows.

Still getting the same ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ "EA AntiCheat Service encountered a system error. Please run EA Anticheat Service installer" error.

same. I just get to the anticheat load screen than it relaunches EA app and does nothing. No fix for this. Just half to wait for an update on there end. Keep ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ around you'll find out kinda thing here. End up ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ up your PC or something. no fix for this. It's on there end. I even tried older methods of ending all process from msi afterburner, riva turner, msi dragon center, discord, all overlays, and other stuff. Even the asus version and still no luck. It's literally on there end. They should work longer hours and get paid less. They don't know how to fix anything at this point.

so i found out my viper was blocking it so ull have to shut down your antivirus if it had a built in firewall launch the game install the ea anticheat then restarte your pc and try to launch the game if that dosent work ull have to have your antivirus off and firewall protection off when playing the stupid ass game sadly

I have the same issue for FIFA 23, BFV and BF2042. I have tried all suggested solutions, but any of them not worked for me. Can any one help me?

FYI - this is almost certainly because of Anti-Virus. Disable/uninstall your Anti-Virus, reinstall BF2042, then reinstall Anti-Virus. Or flag the BF2042 directories as "exclusions" in your Anti-Virus scanning. Issue resolved.

Tried that. isn't it. Did that twice with two different customer support ppl and they just gave up and ended chat with no luck.
