They always make a gun that favors aim assist console players. This is the current meta for that input

New guns are always overtuned on release so people can "have fun" with them. The same goes for the new DMR, that thing just shreds people.
Dice will eventually balance things and players will move on to the next op weapons.

its not even that good. close up its strong, but anyone at medium range you just get outgunned by the G428 or SFAR.

it was the same when the rm68 was released. After it recieved a (mild) nerf most people dropped it.

The same will happen to the G428 and VHX-D3.
Just give it time.

Does tons of damage, ez to frag.

Unlike the "standard Ar's" like the ACR / M416 / M5A3 or what ever it's called... they do trash damage ..... 40 / 45 / 50 ... witch u need a full dump of mag and a 10 bullet hit for 1 kill

Also the VhX has been nerfed in terms of recoil / spread / consistency ...... now the gun is just rash for Mouse users.

For controller players with full on aim asssist snap... this gun is a gem.

They only need to slightly move there little thumb thingis and it will autoaim / spread / no recoil for them.

I honestly can't tell was the gun nerfed at all. I used it only once or twice before the supposed "nerf" but I got over 250 kills with it the last weekend only. Doesn't feel "harder to use", but it could also just be because I use AR's all the time anyway.
Mouse+keyboard user btw.

Edit. I don't play against bots either. Have to say it because some people claim the gun is "almost impossible to use without a controller". It's not any harder than RM68 or GEW, except if you use RM68 you have to pick certain mods for it to be useful but with VHX you can pick anything. It's not very good on long distances but if I want to snipe people from far I can pick an sniper or marksman riffle anyway
