Can't play the game

Title

I tried clearing the cache; installing the APP again; Deleting and installing the game;

Nothing works. I press play, the app opens a new window and does not launch.

Clearing cache for EA app and running it as administrator worked for me

open the EAappInstaller.exe and select repair to fix the validating loop. its in (Replace the drive letter with the drive you have it on) D:\Steam\steamapps\common\Battlefield 2042\__Installer\Origin\redist\internal

GOT IT WORKING. go to where 2042 is installed, for me it is D:\Program Files (x86)\steam\steamapps\common\Battlefield 2042\EAAntiCheat. click the installer program in the ea anti cheat folder and then in the drop tab select 2042. for whatever reason when the game updated it never installed the new anti cheat which is why we cant load into the game!

Same here i tried clearing the download cache and closing steam and trying to launch it from EA but nothing T.T hopefully this gets solved soon.

Using all of these "fixes" didnt work for me, so i did some testing and FINALLY GOT IT RUNNING.

[SOLUTION]

Just as previously written do these steps:

1. Visit the EA App -> Menu Icon.
2. Click on "Help"
3. Select "App Recovery" and clear Cache (Important to get rid of Validation Loop)

After that:

4. Restart Steam
5. Close all EA Apps through Taskmanager
6. Start EA App as ADMINISTRATOR [IMPORTANT]
7. Start BF2042 through the EA APP
8. Hopefully enjoy :)

down loaded ea app clicked repair, reboot pc, click play, waited like 5 minutes with nothing happening, was folding laundry waiting ...... then anti cheat popped up windows box, click yes then just launched game no problem

Here is an possible fix.
Deinstall the EA App
Go to your local bf 2042 files.
open the folder: EAAntiCheat
Run: EAAntiCheat.Installer
Install for BF2042
Close the window.
Start the application: EAAntiCheat.GameServiceLauncher.exe
There should be an error with no EA App installed. thats ok.
Now Start your BF 2042 and install the EA App.
AND NOW MY GAME STARTET :D hopefully this works :D

uninstall ea app - start bf via steam - ea app will reinstalled and bf works
