[Ongoing] Steam Validation Error - Workaround Attached.

Hello Folks,

We are aware of an ongoing scenario where players are experiencing a Validating message when pressing Play on Steam.

While we continue to assess the issue, a potential resolution is to go through the following steps:

1 Visit the EA App "Hamburger" Menu Icon.
2 Highlight Help
3 Select "App Recovery"
4 Reloading the EA App and Steam may be required.

This may resolve the issue where Steam is preventing validation. We will continue to follow up on this issue as we continue our investigations.

I cleared STEAM cache and used the repair function in the EA app, and neither fixed my launch issues. Hopefully time fixes all things

When you launch the game, EA loads and that’s it. The game does not start, there are no errors.

I can't get into the game. I'm launching through Steam. EA Launcher loads, I get some kind of popup then nothing. I've tried the app recovery method and nothing. I've tried to reinstall EA launcher. Nothing. This needs investigating asap!

"Work-around?!?!?!" It's 2 years after release. This common issue often remediated by good dev orgs is remedial and underscores just how much this sh_t tier game is sh_t.

Nothing works. Reinstalled/recovered app, reinstalled EAAC, cleared game cache, still nothing happens. Manually checked walidation all good but cant run. Guys, someone shouldnt get salary for this patch. Hire some competent team or just shut down this game. Every patch same problems. I can play many other games with constant patching and nothing like this happens, only in BF team...
