I can suppose your account its hacked. Try to change the email with a new one and the password with one really strong, (numbers, letters etc, no simple words, or names etc.) add the steam guard on your smartphone and delete all the links to the unknown account, and try contacting steam support and report the incident.
How Can I Report that?? I Tried to speak with the ea support and they didn't get my point

I don't fully understand what your issue is. But I do know that EA Play/Origin will only allow you to link to ONE Steam account and only ONE time.
So if you are on Steam and trying to link to your EA Account in order to play BF 2042 and it rejects it - it most likely means that your EA Account has already been linked to another STEAM account and you will need to make another EA Account to link to.
AFAIK this isn't well known and error messages resulting from this do not explain anything at all. The error message I received for this issue on Xbox Game Pass was " :( " - that's all the information they gave me.

Since there's almost no information given on your end it could also be that you don't meet min requirements, you need to DDU and reinstall GPU drivers, Verify game, redownload and reinstall game, etc.

No what i Mean Is That I Found Out That My Steam Account which I Found Out That It Has Linked Account into it and i didn't know that , and I don't know what to do with the game at this point , neither I have the ability to get control of the ea account nor getting at least the password, someone used my account and linked it to his EA App and that began to be frusterated

I will be refunding it. All of my accounts were linked correctly. I still had my email and cell phone verification still set up. All the right emails and accounts were linked. Sims 4 and Titanfall 2 are in my library from buying them on steam but i guess battlefield just doesn't want to work.

Tried re-linking. Tried re-installing.
Although... when sending the verification code to my cell phone, it was all in Asian characters. Something is fishy, and its the Incompetence of EA.

Steam should not allow people to have 3rd party launchers. If i buy a game on steam and spend the entire night downloading it, I should not have to deal with a incompetent 3rd party.

I am having the exact same problem. I just spent the last 8 hours downloading it and right now i don't have any means to play. All it says is that You don't have acces dialog box. It is so frustrating. I tried logging into origin with my steam account and went through all those retarded code sending and verifying processes only to experience the incompetence of EA in sending a code. I will refund it aswell.

Bought it on sale, had the issue after linking my Steam and EA account, that it claimed the game might be registered under a different user and I should restart the launcher... yaddayadda. No it's not. Both are my accounts, the EA account has 2FA activated, I can still access everything in both of my accounts (Steam and EA) but this game just won't run because of that garbage software of a 3rd party launcher.

I decided to get a refund. Yes, I know I could jump through a dozen hoops to be able to play the game at some point, but honestly I just can't be bothered anymore. Maybe it's my age (not 20 anymore and THAT eager to play), maybe it's because I have to fix issues like that for a living at work, but I just want a game that runs without major issues when I click 'Play'. Is that too much to ask for nowadays? Jfc...

Same ♥♥♥♥ here, i want to burn EA down
ChaosSeed Nov 25, 2023 @ 12:47pm
OK. so, i have no idea what happened but the EVERYTHING from EA was acting weird. I finally got mine to get battlefield working but i have no idea what got it to work.

I tried sending verification emails to my email, and none of them went though. I made a new account to see if they could at least send emails. Their emails were working just not with my account for some reason. So i figure, i will just buy direct from EA. Its on sale for 9 bucks. I punched in all my info, the game didnt get added to my library. I booted up my new account to see if it was something weird with my account... Got it up and running, I bought the game on my second account, it didnt get added to my library. So i figure the store just is not up and running. But no... that wasn't it. I got a receipt though paypall. I checked my purchase history, but their website gave an error and said to try again later. At this point i was just mad and wanted to do everything i could before contacting customer service.

I went into my task manager. I found out all the file paths of this launcher by right clicking the processes in the task manager. It had the EA app programm and then a EA background service. I stopped all instances of this stupid EA app. I went into the files and deleted all the files for electronic arts and EA. Un-installed the EA app though the control panel. I uninstalled it after a complete wipe of all files, and now its running fine.

All my purchases went though when i did this. So, im out 30 bucks now unless if i can at least get one refund back.

I think this launcher is just BUGGED to H***. I would uninstall, go in and manually delete all the files and wipe your system of any EA files.

Regardless the steam version is just a place holder... If you want to play the game, just buy from EA. You have to have their launcher open regardless so the steam version is just pointless.

EA is a nightmare. I just bought Battlefield 2042 on sale and I cant play it. The EA app is stonewalling me and this is extremely frustrating. If this continues I will refund the game and boycott all EA games and products from this moment forward.

Just bought the game on sale, it seemed like a good deal to me. Unfortunately, the EA app does not work at all, it keeps indicating that I do not have the correct permissions. Refund request submitted...
