Battlefield 42 deserve a "mostly positive" ratings by now

title. i have been enjoying my time with this game so far.

and i understand the mixed reviews came from the people who bought the game during release but in its current state, its definitely should be "mostly positive".

i never had any crashes.

the only blackscreens i encounter, is when i finished a match. then waiting for another match to start, then i alt tab to my second monitor then went back to battlefield 2042, then my game will become black. so i had to restart battlefield 2042 and find a match again. but this only happened 30-40% of the time.

0 crashed for me. so idk. to people experienced crashes maybe its just their rig.

i only encountered 2 bugs so far
1. sometimes either my guns or one of my teammates will become invisible.
2. i cant hear any voice chats from my team. even after configuring the voice chat output to either my external speakers or my headphones. i can see the voice chat icon appeared on my screen when my teams using the voice chat but i just cant hear anything what they say.

No. Two years after release the game still has the very same bugs it had on Beta. They're gonna ditch the game next year anyway so why would they fix any of it

But the launch should still have consequences, even if they have done a great job since then.

Yes, the game is really fun now. I didn't have a chance to play it back when it was released, so I can't say how much the game has improved since then, but it plays well now. I have played almost all BFs since 2, and 2042 is one of the best for me.

i didnt played the game during its early release so i cant comment on that. i just started playing BF2042 during its F2P last week and has been hooked since.

My game runs fine fps wise, I get 165 fps. You should play BF1/4 right now, take a look how your mouse behaves in those games, how it feels? Then come back and play 2042, don't you see any issues?

Could it not be a nvidia problem?
I only hear of people with nvidia cards having this problem, i never had it on my rx5700xt and even on my series x it runs good.

you owned the game on origin epic EA whatever it is it doesnt matter. the fact that you had 250 hours in game and yet you disliked the game and crying about it just made yourself sounded like a clown.

also i hate to bring this up, but i've always got the highest KDA in every matches, always got the top of the leaderboard in almost every matches of BF2042 ive played (im talking TDM specifically). so you're saying aiming is awful blah blah blah is just IRRELEVANT to me.

so your issues are just basically skill issue.
