Stuck at BF 2042 - Season 6 Splashscreen - Possible fix

Hi,

I had the problem that I could not launch BF2042 after the season 6 update. Now I tried every possible thing on the forums... Nothing worked!

I was thinking, maybe something on Windows is blocking the executable... So after some searching I managed to fix it by disabling Control Flow guard (CFG) for the BF2042.exe.

Open your PC Settings,
Open Windows Security Settings,
Click on "App & Browser control",
Click on "Exploit protection settings",
Click on "Program settings",
Click on "Add program to customize",
Click on "Choose exact file path",
Navigate to where you have installed Battlefield 2042 and click on the 'BF2042.exe' file,
Click on "Open",
Scroll down to Control Flow guard (CFG),
Click on "Override system settings",
Make sure it's switched to the "Off" position,
Click on "Apply".

Didn't fix it for me unfortunately. Is there anything else that you did?

Excluded BF2042.exe from Antivirus / Firewall if this is enabled, but that didn't fix it for me. It has something to the with the anticheat software...

I appreciate your effort, but unfortunately, didn't work for me. At this point there is nothing left that I can try.
This problem should be a priority for DICE, but is seems they are on a radio silence about it for almost 2 weeks now.

Yeah it is sad that it is that long ago already, I just don't understand that they did not fix it by now...

What is your exact problem? Is it the same as me or?

Если говнофилд 2042 не запускается
1 Выставляем "запуск от имени администратора" EALauncher.exe EADesktop.exe BF2042.exe
2 Выполняем "восстановление приложения EA" из папки с игрой "...Battlefield 2042\__Installer\Origin\redist\internal\EAappInstaller.exe"
3 Перезаходим в Steam и EA


1 We set up "launch as administrator" EALauncher.exe EADesktop.exe BF2042.exe
2 We perform "EA application recovery" from the game folder... "Battlefield 2042\ __ Installer\Origin\redist\internal\EAappInstaller.exe"
3 Let's restart on Steam and EA
