Incredibly high ping

About a month ago i was playing the game and there were no problems, but now my ping fluctuates from 300+ - 500+, what kind of problem is this?

I think it's the massive amount of ppl buying BF42 on sale right now. They are blowing up the servers I think.

And when the ping is super high, even without these settings it was displayed in red numbers on the left of the screen

It looks like it. The next day my ping returned to normal on its own. It’s a pity, of course, that you can’t choose the server yourself

Yep, I've noticed the lag as well.
Here's the weird part, it also lags in solo bot mode.
Sometimes it's as bad as 500 ping.

All this on extremely stable 300mbit fiber internet.

But there's no server in the world that should be 500 ping.
Longest distance from me is China/Japan, and I get around 250/300 ping to there.
