Insane periodic stutter
Pretty much what the title says. Now and then it stutters so much the audio starts to lag and everything ingame isn't calculating physics normal anymore. The stutter itself lags my entire computer to almost a halt till it passes. I've been trying to find similar issues but it's not microstutters which is what i've found. Anyone got any ideas? The game runs really well until it doesn't.

I've got:
2060 Super
Ryzen 9 5950x
64gb RAM 2666mhz

Do you have this game installed on a M.2 SSD? if not at least a SSD... old spinny HDs are obsolete for gaming. Also check if you have the Xbox gaming companion going... the built in windows thing for clipping can wreck fps try disabling that if its on.. if your overclocking dont OC this game seems unstable with a OC

Yeah I got it on a M.2 SSD. I'll have a look at the Xbox companion thingy and see what I can do!

I've disabled OneDrive so it shouldn't be doin any funny business. I also cleared the cache just in case but that didn't do anything I could notice at least.

I'll have a look at the Nvidida control panel see if I can change some stuff there.

I have one idea you can try, i was getting stuttering like that in Snowrunner, and i had just gotten a 4090 and a 13900k and was like this cant be happening...

After messing about i found a app called DDU (Display driver uninstaller) It cleans your GPU drivers and then you do a clean install of the drivers it fixed my issue.. Worth trying

It's a bit of mixed settings for my own liking. Medium/High ish with DLSS on Quality. I'll try adjust texture res perhaps to see if it does anything. But yeah it's weird if I'm funnin outta VRAM, I have 8gb after all.
