anyone know how to increase fps with a CPU bottleneck?
I know for a fact my cpu isn't strong enough to run this game but I feel like I should be able to run this game at 60fps.

CPU: AMD ryzen 5 3600 6 core
GPU: 2060 super

Downgrade your GPU or upgrade your CPU. That's how you fix a bottleneck

Try using DLSS or FSR, or lowering the resolution.

And of course graphics settings but I guess you've already tried that.

You can try lower the graphics at minimum, dont use antialiasing and close all the app not needed, plus in the antivirus, add to exclude path where your game is installed, because unwanted scan of the files can lower the performance too.

the vast majority of battlefields are CPU dependent

What cpu you got?

a cpu bottleneck is sadly not able to improve fps, maybe lower the standard settings and close background applications, and lock your fps to 60, but other than that, only an upgrade

specs, so we can help

debloating your drivers helps, make sure it's on an ssd, don't run anything in the background.. just a few things that's helped me with New World and Darktide

Hi can you post your specs?

Edit: Without knowing your specs the best solution when the CPU is the bottleneck is to increase resolution so less stress is put on your CPU and is instead on your GPU.

I used to play on i7 4790K but the thing is 32vs32 or 64vs64 is barely playeable as 100% usage what helped is to put graphics settings higer so it offloads more work for GPU try increasing settings and find a sweet spot or play rush as there's less ppl
