i always use default settings so every game i play has different keybindings for the same movement for crouch as an example is c in battlefield and in other game is Ctrl, i taught myself to actively think what button i press to do an action and actively look at my hands how they are placed (or sorta feeling when they are on that key) and now after 15hours i barely look at my keyboard
If you want a pro tip from a CSGO player, try to use your shoulder for aiming and dont rely on your wrist only, you will get very accurate.(also good because you dont overuse your wrist)
After all, your entire arm is working to help you aim down the cross-hair - with controller it's only your thumb.
Tips:
1. Posture, always sit upright - spine straight.
2. Hover your arm, don't rely on your desk to support your member.
3. Play around with your mouses' sensitivity settings.
Once you have that dialed in, and it's comfortable, leave it. Just play and eventually you'll get the muscle memory. It's a little more complicated than that, but that'll get you started.
Controller works Native and fine.
You get all the PC benefits like fps and resolution etc and u can use your controller :)
They both work well but in my opinion K&M allows you to react a lot faster than a controller player, which is what I wanted for my playstyle.
Keyboard and mouse wont take long to get used to though, just play the game and in a matter of time you will rather stay on K&M than use a controller (what happened to me).
If you play infantry (like how I do) aim training will help especially for mouse aiming and figure out your mouse sensitivity, depending if your a wrist aimer or arm aimer. In terms of myself, I combined both wrist and arm aiming and found my sensitivity (you can search up the pros and cons of each and find your playstyle accordingly).
Again, just play the game for now and build that muscle memory, it wont take long.
Hope this helps :)
your mouse pad lenght should be a 180 turn. rule of thumb...
aim with your arm not the wrist. (muscle memory)
train on one of the aimtrainers on steam for 100h
get wrecked by gamepad players because they have "aimassist" aka legal aimbot
rip pc master race
So if you choose 35 for example, this means that moving your mouse in a straight line for 35 cm should make your character do about one 360 degree turn in the game, so you're looking back at where you started.
This is what most pros use and for good reason, you're able to do large turns with your arm, and then finetine for shots with your hand and fingers.
If it feels like this sensitivity is too slow and you're moving through mud, play with it for a few days and (After suckinf with it for a bit) you'll get used to it, then guarantee you'll be doing better than before.
Higher sensitivity is not better, makes it harder to control fine movements and you'll often overcorrect in close gunfights, causing you to miss
i do use my arm a bit when turning more than 180
