This game is dead?
I have been trying to find matches for the past few days now and even with cross-play enabled I find zero matches, what a joke is this game.

It's not. Yesterday they had server outage so that's probably the reason why you couldn't find any matches.

I have not been able to find a game since saturday when I bought the game..

Might be related to your geolocation. I'm from Ukraine and the game(Regular Rush, not XL) was found instantly.

The game is not dead, it never was. There are many servers avaiable at all times. Might have been a server issue as has been said. I don't know more.

I never have problems finding matches. Even if servers do have low pop then it should fill up with AI. Sounds like a you problem.

Problem is on your end. Look at the server browser. It is alive and well. I just started playing this game recently and have never had any issues finding matches.

i been having the same issue though. not sure how this can be on the user's end. Am EAST side and every time it puts me on an empty server regardless of the time. I been trying to give the game another chance but issues like this is what keeps it in bad reviews

I'm new in game. Can some explaine why on every single server not depending from game mode there is a few guys in top with kd 10-30 (with scores like 41-3 on TDM server)? How it's possible?

I heard BF2042 servers have a hard time connecting via AOL's 56k connection, might wanna check your system OP...
