hdr no longer functioning

ever since the recent 2 or 3 updates, hdr seems to not be working at all. it functions fine in other games i play. anyone else experience this?

Works for me but sometimes in a match it'll turn off randomly if you're idled in the respawn menu

Something is completely wrong now.
Before, in HDR calibration i had to set the cursor almost full left side (Odyssey G7 HDR600) now i have to set it completely the opposite and the results are horrible.

Won't play anymore before a fix.

Someone found a easy workaround on reddit, it works for me.

The workaround for 2042 that I found was:

1. launch the game
   
2. Alt+Tab switch out to other windows
   
3. disable HDR in windows settings-display
   
4. Alt+Tab switch back to 2042 (must fullscreen)
   
5. Win+Alt+B to enable HDR
   
6. And voila, HDR will be back to normal.

I will add this :

-After having set the HDR window that fix it always on top of BF2042 by CTRL+Win+T (if i remember correctly), you can just do the exact same CTRL+Win+T FOR BF2042 and it will be on top of the already on top windows while keeping HDR working so... If my english is still Ok...

So you don't even have to bother with a single pixel of the HDR window fixing it.

EA did nothing for 2 month or so, so we had to find a way ourself...

We haven't found a way yet though, there's multiple workarounds but no fix yet.

Whenever I have HDR active, the game ha no clue what "AR"/"resolution" is anymore. I have a 3440x1440 monitor, but I play at 2560x1080 (to maximize fps on 1080ti). But with HDR active, any resolution below native (3440x1440) will have wrong AR (streched to sh**). However, native resolution tanks the performance completely.
Obv, if I switch off HDR the AR is restored, but this cannot be done in game (or I get perma black screen, and have to use HW reset button on my computer), so I have to do it system wide in Windows' screen settings, which requires me to manually set other desktop color settings (and then back again after playing).
Every facet of this game is a true sh** show
