Battlefield 2042 was like $20 during the sale and game pretty solid state now and haven't really experience any cheater other than one so far but was banned I assume as I got email saying someone I reported is now banned.
Battlefield 1 is epic but I think I just played it way too much that I just burnout of it and maxed out everything so all I can do is pubstomp.
For me Battlefield 2042 is my main game as it has 2 progression system. It has normal gameplay progression with skins/mastery/unlocks but also Battle pass progression. Gunplay is pretty solid and it has crossplay which is in a very healthy state it seem as BF2042 was given out for free with Playstation Plus membership.
BF3/BF4 feels way too outdated, I tried to play it but movement is very clunky in my opinion. I loved BF3 when it first launched but both game just feels outdated to me. I am not sure why people keep suggesting it and it so hard to find servers or it super long queue to get into a match. Admins just kick/ban you too which is annoying if you do find a server if you start to do decent. A lot of clan stacking and make one-sided matches too. You have pilots that just rampage the server etc. Too many issue with servers and admin abuse.
As a Veteran.
YES go play BF4. It's good. It has tons of content and stuff to unlock. It's old classic battlefield with also levolution. IT WORKS
try something from before 2015
