I play most of my games on Linux. The only one I have to boot into Windows is BF2042.
So yeah, being able to run it on Linux would be nice.
I play Insurgency Sandstorm with EAC on Linux, so indeed there is a little reason why EA can't make this game run on Linux if a small studio can.
BF3 and BF4 run on Linux too. Didn't try BF1 and BFV, I don't play this garbage.
Since OP was focusing on mentioning steam deck and not linux, that's what i reflected to.
Apex Ledgends is a rare exception.
Also the steam deck cant handle 2042. Tried it with windows.
why should someone support somehting I never heard about?
