Yeah I was also disappointed. What the game needs the most is more content, especially maps.

I am kinda just assuming the resources that where planned for more portal maps went into the release map reworks.
No proof ofc, but sorta makes sense.

Didn't Ripple Effect say that they aren't going to be releasing any new maps for Portal? Either way, Portal definitely needs more love and support. They haven't added anything new to it, except for a few weapons. We need more maps and vehicles, especially for the 1942 faction...

doesnt the Battlefield Portal have a saying, "Your Game Your Rules", yet deploying vehicles are restricted in Portal (after 5mins buggerall vehicles to choose from), shorter lock-on missile ranges, deploying in squad vehicles only, no team vehicle insertions.

Portal was really underwhelming, as a whole. Definitely didn't feel like how the trailer portrayed it...

The biggest thing for me, was locking content in each era. I wanted to mix and match so much stuff, like using all the 2042, BC2, and BF3 weapons and vehicles, but have the BF3 factions fighting each other...
