Extremely long loading screens, invisible weapons

Yes, I have this game installed on an SSD - no other game I play takes anywhere NEAR this long to load.

I have an Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-9400F, gtx 1660, 32g of memory - why I have 32gb of memory with that setup is because I was planning to upgrade then life happened - anyways - I have absolutely no issue with the game fps wise. Game runs perfectly fine for me involving everything EXCEPT two things - loading screens, and switching classes.

It takes literally two minutes to load into a game sometimes. Then even after it loads, stuff is STILL loading - textures, weapons, vehicles, everything. I spawn in, my weapon is invisible for anywhere from 5 seconds to 15 seconds. Fine, I can stand long loading screens every once in a while, except this isn't every once in a while - its EVERY game. Game ends, another 2 minute loading screen. Then by the time I even finish loading the first loading screen they're already putting me into the loading screen of playing the next game. I seriously think I spend around 25% of my time in this game just on loading screens. Pressing continue after a match ends? 75% chance I get a permanent black screen that requires a reset.

Now for the most frustrating experience out of ALL this, you might ask yourself what's more frustrating than spending the majority of your time in LOADING screens, on a video game?

Switching classes and the weapons are invisible. Feel like switching to sniper after assault? I can plan on sitting for THIRTY, I COUNTED, THIRTY seconds while my invisible gun sits in my hands and ever, ever so slowly loads. I have got headshots with a sniper that was INVISIBLE, NO CROSSHAIR. You would think this happens once per game, maybe right? WRONG. I can switch between assault, die, switch to sniper, and I will have invisible weapons. Then I die, switch back to assault, NOW THOSE WEAPONS ARE INVISIBLE TOO.

I reinstalled, verified, looked up tons of information - at this point its obvious this game is just a giant pile of literal dogsh*t. Which is a real shame because I actually genuinely enjoy the gameplay itself when I'm not staring at invisible weapons or sitting in loading screens for 25% of my playtime. I didn't even like battlebit, but I hope to god that game teaches you greedy f*cks the lesson you need to pull your heads out of your ass because this game shouldn't even be legal to release in this state, holy SH*T.

It's literally my first time playing the game and already it's leaving a H O R R I B L E first impression

my rig isn't by any mean low-spec, I'm running it on a m2 nvme ssd, yet the loadings are ultrageous

Windows 11 has been having issues on and off with 2042 for some depending on version/programs
Try disabling all in game overlays was what one recommended

Loading screens are absolutely ridiculous for this game..

I have a pretty decent rig and even just exiting a match to return to the menus is a slog, been like this ever since launch.
Sometimes for me I have to start the game twice too because it hangs on a splash screen I can't escape from the first time
