Seems like a lot of people forgot that Battlefield is a team game...

Battlefield has always been a team game, they even added solo-duos into the mix to express that. Seems that there is a lot of people lately that are joining lobbies just to troll and throw games for L's as well. What's even more childish is people who get into multi-person vehicles and start to team kill OOB when people hop in it.

People still bhop on BF4 to this day, but like I said, it got mostly patched out. No, people did not jump spam on BF4 because if they did, it would have been on BF3 and BC2 etc... and it wasn't. If people did bhop back then, it must be a PC Only thing.

This is what happens when you have hilariously incompetent game designers.

Weapons feeling good is the only redeeming feature this game has, everything else is awful. Map design, vehicle physics/balance, no sense of teamplay.

People just sit at the deploy screen waiting for vehicles, being useless. New players will have a bad time once they do get a vehicle because of stock configurations for vehicles.

Vehicle gameplay now is you just sit somewhere, take a few hits, back up and automatically repair. Why does the Engineer even have a repair tool?

It's not rocket science, BF3 and BF4 were good titles, they took a proven concept and tried to modernize it a little and did it fairly well. BF2042 takes all of that and shoves it in the trash and tries to re-innovate again when entirely necessary and oh boy did it backfire.

Hardline is unironically a better game, both in terms of gameplay, balance and execution.

Yeah I think trying to balance everything around the specialist system is what made it feel like the sense of teamplay is null. But typically it's not all that different from back in the day, just even less than what little there was in BF4.
