Seems like a lot of people forgot that Battlefield is a team game...

Battlefield has always been a team game, they even added solo-duos into the mix to express that. Seems that there is a lot of people lately that are joining lobbies just to troll and throw games for L's as well. What's even more childish is people who get into multi-person vehicles and start to team kill OOB when people hop in it.

Teamwork in all the battlefields are hit or miss with random players, pretty much the only way to get a coordinated squad to get some friends and form a pre-made.

I dont ever recall that being in the older ones and I started in Bad Company 1. It seems this new generation of people just want to ruin it for everyone or don't have a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ clue to what's going on and just dont care either way.

I miss when battlefield was taken a bit more seriously and rewarded you for doing so such as world tier system and renown player status.

I played them all since the beginning and it was always like that. Propably you just had higher tolerance for chaos and BS back then. Sure, sometimes people worked together to some degree, but mainly it was pure insanity. Especially with those early barren or smaller maps. BF2042 is exactly the same in this regard. At least without classes (until season 3) you were able to manage on your own by creating good versitile loadout. Not anymore. Back to square one.

Been playing since BF3 and I agree yeah it's always been like this. Squad players will spawn on each other and work in vehicles together sometimes, but anything more legitimately almost never happens with randoms. Pure chaos most times.

I bunny hop when I am shot at etc. I also play tactical it's natural in a first-person shooter to bring your style when playing an FPS. Watch aculite or futives on YT and you will see that it matters. Having your style rather aggressive or team-based or maybe just sniper mode is important. I do dislike the campers that sit on rocks and snipe you but that's just me. I just make a class to counter them.

BF basically invented FPS bunny hopping lol, BF3 and especially 4 had tons of bunny hopping and they still do, 4 and 2042 have pretty rough cool downs for it though, unlike Call of Duty.

You're kidding right? No, it didn't and it only has a bunch of bhopping now because of the CoD-bros invading it. Halo invented the bunny hop. Battlefield has a jump penalty like the old cods did (not anymore obviously). Battlefield 2042 doesn't appear to have a jump penalty and I see a lot of players doing the call of duty slide cancel too or trying to.

I know what I am talking about, thank you. I dont notice a jump penalty on 2042 at all in its current state because I can jump from side to side to avoid getting shot and I never played BF4 on PC enough to notice, only console and there wasn't a huge bhopping problem on Xbox back then. I never noticed it or it wasn't an issue enough. Nice self important elitist take though.

I know what I am talking about, thank you. Not being self important or elitist, I was just a player back in BF4's heyday, unlike you obviously, so you don't remember what it was like. People still bhop on BF4 to this day, but like I said, it got mostly patched out. This game also has a bhop penalty and if you spam jump you instantly notice it, so I have no idea what you're talking about.
