Looks like EA did something wrong that makes the game load super slow
I can't remember if there's a new patch or not, I was setting the game that update automatically after launch the Steam, so i can't tell if there's a small patch or something that cause this problem
Edit: Nope it DOES start, it's a new video and that slow AF....but only thing I see now is that lagging video.

Same for me when game shutdown closely after launch.
I'm sure that there being a new Nvidia driver today did not help any. I may try rolling it back. Ugh.
Edited to add that I seem to have got it working. I did a few reboots. As well as additional file verifications. Deleted the Battlefield 2042 folder in documents. Plus I cleared my download cache on Steam. Lastly, I deleted the Temp files entry for Battlefield 2042.
