How do i increase my weapon mastery

My M5A3 is mastery 0 and stuck at 30/30 kills. One of the attachments show it has 53 kills.

You need to get kills online for them to update properly against bots it sometimes wont update in time

I've only played online games. The only game that I think wasnt online was the first time i turned on the game it immediately put me into a game that I think had bots in it, but i left that almost immediately.

Okay, so to get my mastery from 0 to 1 do I need XP as well? All I see under mastery 0 is it saying I need to get 30 kills with the weapon, which I have. Can I only get the mastery with bots?

With Bots or Multiplayer I suppose.
I can unlock my guns in Solo Play, no problem whatsoever.

no. just kills. actual kills tho cuz assists dont count unless ur leveling up vehicle mastery.
i unlocked all attachments through solo/coop vs ai so i know its perfectly possible. if it stopped counting for you then there could be a bug there. see if it works with a different weapon if not i'd say contact EA support.

AI is a modifier but only for account XP and Portal doesn't count your vehicle/weapon/gadget kills so you can't unlock anything there (i think they turned it off when the whole XP farm servers thing was happening in portal). you gotta either play online or regular solo/coop vs ai but over there your mastery is capped to 12 which is enough to unlock all weapon attachments but any higher mastery online play is mandatory

Yeah only one of my DMR weapons has gone up a mastery, I think i have 3 weapons past 30 kills that wont go to mastery 1

if others are working then its gotta be some sort of bug
