I played at launch and it was awful, it's actually alright now, new season trailer looks good but you can't trust trailers anymore. I'm having fun now on it.

Like others have told you, the game was an utter mess when it launched but right now i can confidently say its really fun. Im gaving a blast, like those BF4 fun times so long ago. The game should've launched on this month/year rather than when it did.

Season 3 will remove specialists and bring back the class system BF is known for, so, good times ahead.

Overall, i cant put it down!

I've played a fair amount recently and haven't seen a single bot... Steam player count doesn't look the best but as long as you have Crossplay enabled its no issue. Ignore the dude just hating for no reason games actually alot better nowadays.

BF2042 is not death because, this time, devs did listen player and, update after update, improved the game.

That said: is not perfect yet of course but almost one milions of times better than the s.h.i.t.h that peoples usually call MW2

Not dead yet, but still a very average shooter. They are supposed to be bringing the class system back.(Yes please) My biggest complaint is the Bf2042 maps.(They Suck) When they run a playlist with the old maps it gets very close to Bf3/Bfbc2. If you are lucky you can find a good portal server running the maps you like.
