I will post a reply if it works or not.
My pagefile was not set correct and I increased it and every thing is working with no more crashes on loading map in multiplayer.
Best regaards, stay tuned, Pokaa
I will post again when I check to see if I have found a fix.
for example, at the end game screen where it shows your squad, if the models are correct and their outfits all look correct it doesn't seem to crash. But if they look like they're still trying to load up the textures so they don't look like badly painted clothing it crashes every time.
I am also getting crash at at the score screen and level up screen, the screen turns black and the game crashes.
Does any know how to fix the problem?. It would be great if some one with the same problem and has fixed the game can help.
it might be that whatever the game is stored on isnt fast enough and the game freaks out, could be how the game does stuff in ram creates crashes, could be that the game just straight up hates your computer
every issues i have had i was forced to wait for the next update to see if it magically fixed itself
only thing i can think of that would possibly fix it is to completely uninstall the game and remove any traces using software so when you re-download windows will completely re-do everything
EAC kicks me for policy violation, seems to be a known bug that's been posted on EA forums.
Game closes 5-10 minutes in with no error. Haven't found a solution for this.
another fix i've read is to enable or disable xmp in BIOS
I have been playing about 5 to 6 multiplayer games and I have not had a crash yet. It use to crash on my first multiplayer game while loading and some times after a few games.
Here is a fix that helped me, I deleted the Battlefield 2042 cache folder in the Battlefield 2042 folder in the documents folder which is in the user profile folder.
The fix works if you disable write permissions on the cache folder which is in the Battlefield 2042 folder in your user documents folder, and you have to change the permissions after launching the game because Battlefield 2042 will change the permissions on the folder every time you start the game. Make sure write access is disabled on the cache folder. Delete all files in the cache folder before launching the game will help also.
I think the cache files are being accessed by the OS and game and there is some problem so just disable write access for the cache folder.
I fixed my game and I hope it does not crash any more.
I found another folder which is causing crashes, delete all the files in the D3DSCache folder in User/ AppData/ Local folder before launching the game and disable write permissions on that folder.
That is it and I hope it helps everyone which is having the same problem as me.
When you launch the game make sure you leave the game running for a few minutes for the game files to load because with a lot of disc access the game will crash when loading in to a multiplayer game.
Click on the search icon on the taskbar type in control panel open control panel and click on the system icon, look for the advanced system settings option and open it. You should see the advanced tab and under performance click settings.
Click on the advance tab where you should see Visual Effects, Advanced, and Data Execution Prevention. In the Virtual Memory options click change. make sure all pagefile settings on all drives are set to system managed size.
You only have to set one drive for the pagefile and if you have an ssd you should use the ssd drive which should make the pagefile usage faster.
The fix is to change the pagefile to system managed size and that is what fixed my game.
