Battlefield™ 2042
Cheaters
Is this game really full of cheaters too???
Often I am getting killed in questionable ways and there are always 2-3 players in every matches who has absurd K/D ratios, like 58-9, 62-12, etc.
For example I saw an enemy player in front of me and even before I can react he shot me dead, like from far away with SMG, LMG, AR doesn't matter. I know I am not good, I am just learning the game, but they do feel very suspicious.

haha 58! kd thats insane hahaha definately cheating going on there. Devs should have a dual or even triple anti-cheat for future content

Exactly, just pop over to;
https://battlefieldtracker.com
and stick their npc name in to look them up.

Hey, it has less cheaters than bfV be glad lol
I’ve ran into 5 in my 120 plus hours, so that’s not bad, NA region

Yeah I tried BF1 and V when they were hot. I found cheaters destroying entire matches and pissing entire groups of people off in less than 2 hours of gameplay. I have hundreds of hours in this game so far and only have a handful of experiences with questionable players that I easily avoided afterwards.
Right. Played 5 matches today. 4 of them had hackers. I have also uploaded the picture in steam cloud. A level 15 player getting 90 kills in a single match. Absurd.

Honestly, this seems like a lot of confirmation bias to me and you got stuck to a pessimistic view of "everyone's a hacker". I'm not saying that there aren't hackers mind you, but there are ENOUGH legitimate outstanding players out there, it literally isn't impossible for people to be on par if not "better" than subtle hacks users.

I agree with Project153 mostly on this, his experience is similar to me that we both "have/had no life" and just invested obscene amounts of hours into games. Back when I was younger it wasn't uncommon for me to play shooters 8+ hours EVERY SINGLE DAY (at times I would literally play until I dropped dead on my bed pulling all-nighters and being awake for 36 hours). It was basically my job at that point (not literally). If you have seen how incredibly skilled, speedy and accurate people can become in their jobs, you'd know that it's definitely possible to appear pretty much machine-like.

Regarding, kill cams or spectator cams. They are in no way an accurate method to measure if someone is hacking. This is due to the fact that they have only a limited amount of information to work with, like a recording rate of 20hz, then interpolating the movements. Hell even 60hz is not enough to showcase all of the miniscule movements human aim displays at the top level.

You hear all this muscle memory and frequency training BS for better FPS skills... it really is all BS, these people are hackers and want you to think they're super skilled so come up with magical systems if you use, you to can be just as good as the hacker.

You make it sound as if a skill cannot be trained. Literally just look up something like "Most satisfying videos of workers doing their job perfectly." People CAN look incredibly machine-like if they are experts at their job.

As I have stated before, I have seen people in person appear to have superhuman aim, with near zero inconsistency. And they can do this effortlessly while switching between different PCs not owned by them which throws away ANY possibility of them being a hacker out of the window. This also means it is almost near impossible to distinguish a legit outstanding player, from subtle hackers, especially since the former doesn't need to "hold back" at all.

Humans average reaction time is around 275ms and that's just to click a button.
Yes that is indeed the average, but that's taking ALL results into account to find the average. As an individual, am I part of that "average"? I'm not claiming to be the fastest, not by any stretch. But I'm certainly not "the average" especially after this many years of playing FPS games, imagine playing games (be it FPS or otherwise) for this many years and still having the "average human reaction time". I am MOST CERTAINLY NOT below average, that would be VERY sad after playing FPS games all these years, casually or not. At the very least I would say I'm above average.

Another VERY important thing to note, that is the average HUMAN reaction time. I know what you're about to say, gamers are indeed human...but when you mix ordinary people who don't play many games into the mix, you make the average seem lower. What if you took the average reaction time of people who ONLY played FPS games? I am willing to bet the overall average is WAY higher than just regular people. In that case, yes I would very likely be dead average or worse when the core group is FPS gamers, but with people who don't game as often or play games where reaction times matter? There's your 275m/s time.

you all wanted scoreboards and stats with K/D ratios - this is what you get.
BF series has always been full of cheaters. Was running over to rez a guy today and he rezzed himself. All sorts of cheats. I see a lot of Angel with Sentry guns, It gets destroyed, guy drops another one sentry gun. Snipers with no glint. Lots with aimbots or automatic return fire. There's even the one that when you shoot at them, instead bullets go everywhere else and they just whip around and kill you instantly. I especially like the snipers with constant head shots. Alot of them have all the weapons and gadgets in their inventory. Saw a guy in my squad drop both the ammo and med boxes, then got out his sentry gun.

I believe it's like 10-15% cheaters per match.

Some turn their graphics to bare minimum so they can see everyone hiding. I know if you get caught doing this, you get banned. Why then even have this setting.

Been playing this since BF2, think I've seen many but not all the cheats.

I maybe new to BF franchise but I can tell when someone being obvious. That guy got 90 kills that match where all his teammates kills were under 20. He was only level 15 and the way he was killing everyone it was so obvious.
It was not only to me it was obvious to everyone in the match that those guys were cheating.
i've had games where i my k/d is insanely good like 60+/10-15 on foot. Then i also see some godly pilots that gets a heli at the beginning and go 40+/0-2.

With third party software, sure that's understandable, but going into the game settings from the main menu and turning everything down to the lowest? Not sure I buy it. Should rephrase that.

I was in a squad, we were talking about it, and one of them turned down their graphics, was in BF5. Said "wow, you can see people hiding on the ground". I've never done it, I've had the same graphics setting since BF3. Wouldn't know how much you can set it down, but do know if they catch ya, they'll ban ya.

Funny I've seen plenty of self proclaimed Pro's play on LAN and it was embarrassing no 50 60 bombs camping fest it was...

And why would that be, huh? It's as if LANs aren't usually populated by hardcore players, who are generally capable in competing with each other keeping each other's K/D in check.

Now look at Battlefield, a chaos shooter with players of varying skill levels ranging from newbie, mediocre, to expert. Remember, this game has NO skill based matchmaking. Then there's also abuse of the revive mechanic to prevent deaths. I play duos a lot, not as much in this game but still, we keep ourselves alive and coordinated.

I can still compliment a player's skill even if they aren't able to dominate due to the stiff competition as could take place in LANs. But generally their consistency still pushes things into their favor.
No nothing like that its cuz they can't wall-hack see where the enemy is... usual ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ excuse saying oh there all Pro's so that is why they play like Bots lmfao.. wanna see a true Pro at work watch Scump

Go check that players battlefieldtracker...

Plays against real people 80% win rate.
Plays against AI 20% win rate.

Is it not the same 'skill' involved in killing real people as it is in killing the AI?
Battlefield tracker is a good tool.
Here's a cheater lvl38, Kills/Match 30.11. Only 22hrs of playrtime.
Don't forget also that PS then Xbox had their aim assists improved greatly. I feel like this is just a big middle finger to the pc players as the devs are catering to PS.
