First.
if acount options what we have in old game - there is not a lot. First it's bacis loadout, with class stuck frough entire game life. Second is stuff for build sub-class. Threed a tons of useless garbage, what you never going to use.
So you indirectly chousing class with freeslot, so after people was give up on one chunk of stuff, and stoped beeing hypocrites and start bring ammo to users of other chunk, we got our team work back.

You guys so excited about incoming classes, what you didn't nouticed how stupid they distributed.
Most stupid - Recons - They will stuck with 2 spotting options at the same time.
Supports - One Man Support - Medic spec will stuck with supply gadget, supply spec will stuck with medic gadget. They have smoke hande-granade, so launcher aren't a real option.
Assault - YEY! Reason why you guys hate specialists become a class. Are you happly? - med-pen and plait/C5 and Dozer/Sundance. Sounds pretty much like one man army builds.
Some specific specialists - Irish. What TF is Irish doing with engineers?! Lis will stuck with mines, because everything else is launchers and they banned for her. I realy would be happy see McKey with defibs sometimes, sometimes as assault; and brobably drafting some others, but classes clearly will be solid, and it's sad.
I realy like how they decided deliver unpopular stuff to hiden slots, so it can be with you if you get in situation when it becom useful. So i want it, but without gadget and granade slots lock.
Well I would consider those loadouts more for team play because of their simplicity and focus. It is sacrificing variety for a more role like class. If you are locked out of being able to have whatever gadgets that you want, then you have to switch classes. That's the point. You can't just use a ammo bag instead if the player is locked out of it.
I don't mind assault for being what it is. It's at least a lot better compared to the specialists now. C5 with a medpen isn't nearly as powerful as let's say a rocket launcher, cluster grenades, flying suit, and a health or ammo bag. Recon can at least just focus on nothing but the radar and tracking, in comparison to literal wall hacks or nonsense like that. Support class is what it is, a support class, to support the team. Engineers is a bit odd with some of the specialists, which again wouldn't be a problem if the specialists weren't there to begin with, but I think it is for taking the classes that rely on gadgets or abilities specifically, like a sentry or deployable wall, and combining it with the vehicle oriented class. Honestly wouldn't have minded seeing 5 classes but oh well, it's still better lol.
Theyre actually distributed quite well. Your also forgetting all the new gadgets they listed as well as the Season 2 specialist which is confirmed as Support.
Recons are just that recons. They still have C5 as a gadget which is great better then Supports list plus theyre getting a new Tracer Dart Gun which will be amazing against low flying Stealth Helios and still great against everyone else.
Supports are getting Claymores I LOVE Claymores. Going to be hilarious planting those around objectives for free kills because no one pays attention to those even in BF4 with their clearly visable trip wires they were a lot of fun.
Assaults are actually really balanced with this change. Armor plates and a Med pen wont make them unkillable. Dozer will actually be a problem now with armor and only being able to shoot his feet before he was just a joke. No one really used him for his cover ability just the shield for melee challenges. Sundance with inf ammo for under barrel GL plus her special and normal grenades is OP. She will fit her role more now as a infiltrator with the med pens and armor plates for survival. Nothing still is scarier then a Sundance landing on your tank with C5.
For Engineers Irish is a great choice and makes great sense. Really defensive and has the option of rockets. Lis isnt just stuck with mines theres a new EOD bot and I remember how annoying those were in BF4 now she can weaken vehicles with that and go for the kill with her launcher.
Mackey never had defibs but I'm sure we can still revive squad mates like we can now so nothing really changes there.
The problem was never the classes, it was the inability to communicate between players that wrecked 2042, T? Enter? VC? nothing worked, leading to players that just ran into game and farmed with little reward
Preclaiming what classes need to force people play in team, but been okay with class what disigned to still be on his own. Start sound like you guys just hate free will.

No one use Dozer for cover he provide, because he didn't. He just broken on that ways, his protecton angle not working. previos i blame his weak spots, such as open legs. Buts after bot, who makes no trick, manage to kill me in 70-75m in front of me, i give up on him.
Melee didn't work too. Agane, when i farming his badge points with bots, i noticed that most times he didn't hit right. I hear bumbing soud but deal no damage at all. Like he suppose hitting with whole sheld's space, but instead it just few pixels in the middle of POV.
With reduced rotating speed, what make you feel so lame like you rotating tank's tower in FPV. And unavailble sprint, what makes everyone who got time to realise with what he dealing able to flee or even trick you. Makes even 1v1 difficult. Saying not only as who try get worth from him realy hard couple of times, but aslo as who still have no problems killing them 1v1.
Irish is bad aganist AT, checkd on practice. Maybe he chatch M5, most probably not, but Lis, 50mm and tank's rounds passing though fine.
Dunno why you seeing EOD as options, not big deal to handle them on your own. Always finding them in trash cans of clear-jokes.
