Can't push past 80 fps. RTX 3070 + Ryzen 5 5600x
I have an RTX 3070, AMD Ryzen 5 5600X and 16GB RAM.

No matter what settings I use I cannot get my system to run higher than 80 fps.
DLSS actually reduces my performance to ~60fps, anyone have any advice?

hey so I have this same set up and run at 1440. I normally run 90+ but I have to OC the ♥♥♥♥ out of my gpu (FE). Normally for this game I run +85 core volt, clocked on a curve via msi AB, power limit is 101% and temp is 83. I have very good cooling in my system though and normally hover round 63 with that clock.

other than that what mem are you running and what clocks on that? I should note that most of my settings are on high as well and DLSS is "balanced".

Which resolution?
Is dual Channel and xmpp set up?

I run at 1080p 120hz. I am unfamiliar with dual channel and xmpp.

I have a 3070ti i9 10900kf with 64gb of ram ssd and get 60-110fps game runs fine now since the new update maybe try overclocking cpu gpu or ram I did it for all of them for max fps in games

If your in that range with better hardware then I doubt OC will give me much of a benefit. Especially as BF2042 I would need it for, shame.

at least OC your ram that helps for any game trust

Check in bios if xmpp is active.
Dual channel as in proper ram configuration.
I also do hope nothing throttles in your PC.
And easiest thing to do, get latest Nvidia drivers and check the "clean install" box.

With that resolution you should get way more fps with low settings or / dlss on performance.

I doubt its a hardware issue, 2042 has performance issues on some system meanwhile similar systems have no visible downsides to performance.

XMP doesn't matter, base speed RAM and unlocked RAM to 3200mhz or higher wouldn't draw significant results. Overclocking shouldn't be needed for this kind of setup. Nothing about this setup should show performance issues.

And these issues can be resolved.

You definitely won't need overclocking with that setup and plain fullhd.
i got around 50 hours before this update no problem. Update ruined it so unplayable or me and im not the only one. I got a $2500 pc and i can run Star Citizen and DCS which requires like a NASA PC. Those 2 are very high cpu, gpu and ram demanding but i cant run Battlefield 2042. It just proves that they cant do anything right and i love battlefield. Im not attacking battlefield. im attacking the lack of development and they are paid as developers and cant even develope or rush crap for extra money grab

Stop support triple aaa companies overpricing games when hell let loose or squad is only $40 and actually has more content and better map design then Battlefield 2042 by a longshot. Sadly planetside 2 is 12 years old and has more content and its free.
