There's no real fixes for that, It's an optimisation issue, You just have to wait for the devs to optimise the engine more.

A way to increase FPS though is to stop playing the 128 player modes ( more players = more CPU load )

Play portal or 64 player modes

ill try that. just seems no matter what i try or do to optimize the game i just get 30-40 fps and the game gives me the 3 yellow boxes on the screen ive watched a couple people play and their game runs just fine. like i want to play the game but its unplayable on 30-40 fps

Bro BF2042 is full of RICH BOIS :D. They have 3080s, 3090s. So they dont give a ♥♥♥♥ about optimization. So voice of people like you and me will never get reached to DEVs.

This is why DICE focusing on map design, scoreboard,, VOIP, Cosmetics instead of server browsing feature, game optimization, gameplay etc

Not true, We can pass on feedback and such to higher ups at EA and they can then pass that on to the teams at DICE.

DICE are absolutely aware of the performance issues ( including CPU's being pegged at 100% usage resulting in poor framerate ) and they even posted about it on twitter a while back that it wasn't going to be a quick fix.

I can run the game at 4K all ultra on a 2080Ti on portal with just bots or solo/PVE or 64 player modes but as soon as I touch 128P modes the performance just drops immensely!

it's visible on your power supply might have to take the covers of if you don't have a see through case usually shows it on the side

it looks like max 500w

The basic stuff to check is to enable the high performance power plan in windows :

• click start -> type "control panel" and open it
• Select "power options"
• click on "high performance" and then hit apply.

Another thing to check is that your GPU is set to high performance
Nvidia :
• Right click the deskop and select Nvidia Control Panel
• Click "manage 3D settings"
• Look for "Power management mode" and set it to "Prefer maximum performance" then hit apply.
