SO what! its still not anywhere as good as pervious bf's. who gives a ♥♥♥♥ if he got an oscar, doesnt mean hes any good or skilled.
They even have the same "Horns of Purgatory" concept with BF 2042 behind it.
But serious.. while music quality is subjective, past BF titles had epic anthems that represented the time and setting. I guess an argument could be made that in 2042, everything is crap, and the music reflects that... by being crap.
Too bad the game didn't ship with a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ singleplayer to actually convey some sort of story to actually play the music with.
Who cares - the music isnt as good and epic as the music of the other BF games. Who seriously cares about the oscars these days? - there is a reason why fewer people even watch them every year.
For example i really liked the BF3 soundtrack - especially the main theme.
