Best thing about bf 2042 is the music

The strongest aspect of the game that really reflects the lore behind the game is the music. It's dark, hopeless, desperate. Hell even winning feels like a slower path to defeat and I love how it is. (until angel opens his mouth 3 times in a row ofc, but by now it's a meme) The best I can describe is, it feels like the trigger had been pulled long ago and the bullet is already in motion and no one can do anything about it.
Bravo to the music guy. I wish they made the menu music more louder. or give us the option to do so.

My top 3 so far are:
1- hour glass - - near ending and specially the closing
2- manifest
3 - orbital

The game has some good radio stations with music and news reporters and I LOVED it in the beta. but in the version up to today they made it so quiet that you can barley hear it. sad. I use to defend points on some sick tunes on beta. Please dice bring them back.

Honestly I think all of battlefield titles had strong music.

Turned this so-called music off as soon as I started playing the game the first time. It's bland and uninspiring. Just because you can hire some famous composers, it doesn't mean they can make good music.

The OST was made by a pair of composers... Hildur Gudnadottir and Sam Slater.

You probably know Hildur's work from the HBO Chernobyl series in which she practically turned that plant into a living thing with her haunting soundtrack. She also did the Sicario soundtrack in addition to other titles. As much as I like her work, I don't think the new direction was a good one, much like the title itself.
