Mouse and keyboard against bad aim assist

Why would you put mouse and keyboard with controller players. And on top your aim assist sucks. I like this game but I don’t want to be a target for mouse and keyboard. Why can’t you separate them? It’s impossible to compete with a mouse and keyboard using a controller. I’ve seen comments from new players saying you must be a professional to play this game. I agree. I play a lot and think this game could be great but this is a big problem. At least fix the aim assist.

Turn off Cross-Play in settings, this way you won't have any PC players in the server.

Mind you, before I bought a PC, I used a mouse and keyboard for my xbox one, so it's still possible for console players to use a K & M.
Might I suggest you turn off aim-assist altogether? Never going to improve this way.

Thank you. But the problem is I’m playing on PC with a controller. I ride a exercise bike when I play. Kinda killing two birds. I see a lot of Xbox and PlayStation also playing. I think so they can play against each other. I myself played with a Xbox before and had friends that had playStation and wished I could play against them. I don’t see why they can’t separate or at least fix the aim assist. Give a player using a controller a chance against mouse and keyboard. Thanks again. I appreciate you trying.

And one more thing. No matter how much I practice. I could never move as fast as a mouse and keyboard. I watched a content creator just a few minutes ago. I could tell instantly he was using a mouse. Impossible for a controller to move that fast or pin point accuracy

Oh I totally misunderstood what you were saying, now it makes sense & that's actually a great idea!

Glad you're enjoying it regardless of those issues, my PC only allows me to play BF2042 for about 30-40 mins before it inevitably will crash, and that's on really low settings.

I think if they split up the player base anymore they will be lucky to even fill servers in some countries, here in Australia it was slim pickings finding a game.

haha for sure , but hey it's possible to get pretty quick! although it would be difficult to be that accurate with flicks with the sticks, whilst riding an exercise bike. My mate can still keep up with me on his controller, I hate him hahah

I think that there is a lot more Consol players then PC. At least that’s what I’m seeing. And that’s to bad. I hope they optimize this game soon. I’ve heard that a lot. I just built my PC this past year and managed to get my hands on a 6900 xt for slightly over msrp and I still have to lower settings to get 100 - 120 FPS. And deal with crashing also. And besides the bugs I love this game. I think the fact that they let you play multi player against bots was a great idea. Battlefield has a bigger learning curve then COD. Different totally. Now that I get it I’ll go back and play 5 and 1. I hate to admit it. I was hardcore COD player but now I feel battlefield is way better. I bought both this year but hardly touched COD since I bought 2042.

First I’ve always played with a controller. I Usually ride my exercise bike while I play and that would be impossible with a mouse and keyboard and I am not interested in learning how to play with a mouse and keyboard .most of my games I Play in VR. It would nearly be impossible to use a mouse and keyboard and I know most all Consol players use a controller so to play on a cross platform and not take this into consideration in my opinion is wrong. And I’m sure there are a few PC gamers that prefer to use a controller. It just seems only rite now since it’s a cross platform game they would take that into consideration. No possible way you even as a good controller gamer could compete with mouse and keyboard. They are two different animals. like a gun and a bow both are great to hunt with but I wouldn’t want to have a bow and go up against a gun.To me it’s a skill and some of these players are incredible but I bet it took years to get that precise .maybe some day. But for now I’ll stay with controller.

M+K users doesn't get good automatically, just because they're using the optimal setup. There are still many people out there, who doesn't have the tactical knowledge or the necessary aim to compete against most players, unless you're also part of that group, at which point you're definitely screwed.

I never said I played bad. I’ve got three weapons almost to tear one. And they fixed the aim assist on the consoles. Not PC. At times on PC it seems to repel your target. Can’t move cross hairs to the target. Seems to freeze at the edge of the target.
There is a content creator that posted a video that shows how bad the aim assist is on PC. In a demonstration how it should work and how it does. And I’ve heard the argument a hundred times how a person can play just as well with a controller as M&K. Impossible. It’s just plain physics. Some may be a good match against M&k. But take two equally skilled players head to head and no possibility the controller player will win. You can’t match the speed or preciseness of the mouse. Try moving the cursor on a PC from one side of the screen to the other and stop just at the edge. Then try it with a controller. Night and day.

Definitely true. I’ve seen PC players using a M&k. And they are horrible.but the ones that know what they are doing can come out with better then 50 kills in a game. You can’t compete with them in a gun fight. Just to fast. I think if they fix the Aim assist on PC it would at least give you a chance

I kill a lot of M&k players using a PS5 controller with gyro aim. It still isn't as good as M&k but it is a lot better than just standard controls on a controller
