Exit Origin ( COMPLETELY ) and then browse to the following location : C:/Program Files(x86)/Origin

Look for, and delete the file named igo64.dll

Relaunch the game and the issue won't ever return ( until Origin updates ).

Just be aware, You will lose the ability to use Origin in-game overlay ( Shift + F1 ) but it's better than losing the ability to control your character.

=the only thing i've had happen similar was the bug where you couldn't look side to side unless you got in a vehicle then there wasn't an issue. you had to delete your bf2042 folder in documents and rebind your keys.

Different issue entirely.

This one is caused by the origin overlay that, even whilst disabled within the client, stays active and you can still use it despite being disabled.

I had the same issue and deleting that .dll solved it.

Hey I have an issue where sometimes my jump stops working for a while. I press space and my char doesn't jump. After a while it starts working again. Got a fix for that?

Could be related to the very same thing, try the fix above.

Or also delete profsave_profile in documents/battlefield 2042/settings

Youll have to redo your ingame settings and keybinds though.

Hello I have the same Promblem with my character moving on it's own And i saw you commented the fix.

I relaunched the game had a good 20 min thought omg it fixed itself and then i got into a wall again. I even did try to take out all controller in my PC then only have my mic/mouse/headset/ Stand Up microphone and then had to delete them again. 40m later same thing do i have to keep doing it all the time now or ?
