DirectX error after latest Nvidia driver update

After updating to the latest Nvidia Driver --

"DirectX function "m_swapChain-> ResizeBuffers(m_bufferCount, m_info.windowWidth m_info.windowHeight, m_outputMode.Format, swapChainDesc.Flags)" failed with E_INVALIDARG ("An invalid paramenter was passed to the returning function.")

For anyone finding this in need of a fix. I deleted the folders "cache" and "settings" from
"C:\Users\"windows user"\Documents\Battlefield 2042\" and the game started working again.

You'll need to re-do your graphics and crosshair/HUD custom settings after this.

all you have to do to fix the "Direct X" crashes is go to your control panel > hardware and sound > device manager > Display adpaters > right click it a small menu should show click on update driver
- it will bring up a screen saying auto detect or manually click on let windows find it
than windows wont find it click on to make sure windows is fully updated after that restart your pc
- goto geforce experience revert from optmize setting just play with default setting they give you for graphics
did that and i havent experience any crashes .. oh of course make sure your GC drivers are updated as well.
