25 - 30 FPS with Recommended Requirements?? Why?

Hi @ all,

I only get 25-30 FPS. No matter if I play on "Low" or on "Ultra". Why? (I play with 1920 x 1080)

(And the game are laggy. My Internet is okay)

My system:
CPU: Intel Core i7-4790k (Task Manager utilization 100%)
GPU Geforce RTX 3060 ti (Task Manager utilization 15-30%)
RAM: 16 GB
(and this are the Recommended Requirements)

I hope you can help me without having to buy something new: D

I get similar results to yours on my laptop, (Ryzen 7 5800H, RTX 3060, 16GM RAM) however I get decent enough frames (60) just my CPU is melting at 101 degrees.

My understanding from reading online is that the game is heavily using CPU and not GPU for performance, so it would stand that it isn't optimised well at all right now.

The recommended cpu specs are heavily underestimated for the current game optimization. The i7 4790 is simply not enough as of right now.

Its strange more and more players have that Low fps Problem on low medium and high end systems mosty in the 128 player modes Portal runs better and Hazard zone.
I hope they can find the Problem soon and Patch it for all Specs.

The game is heavily bottlenecked by the CPU; that being said, I would expect your framerate to be a tad higher.

For comparison, I have a slightly weaker rig :
i7-4790
RTX 2060
16GB RAM

And I get between 30-60FPS at 1440p ultra wide with DLSS on and medium quality preset. All we can do is wait for the devs to release a patch / optimise CPU usage.

cpu bottlenecked. I had that same cpu, (gpu 1080ti) had to upgrade the cpu because it kept bottlenecking on modern warfare 2019. game ran terribly, would jump between 20 and 60fps, crash constantly, etc. I switched it out for a ryzen 3900x and it suddenly ran beautifully. its currenlty running bf2042 on medium at around 60fps

Systems suffering bottleneck isn't the main issue with this title. It doesn't utilize GPU output what so ever, it runs almost exclusively on the back of CPU cores. Not to mention, DLSS/Nboost ect don't actually do anything.

i have the same system as you bro but my cpu is 11600 and 16 ram at 3200mhz 1080p.....100-75 fps at chaos..i think is your cpu too old....the 3060ti is a beast i have it but you have to pair a good gpu with a more decent and new cpu to not have bottleneck

DLSS in this game has shown on tests on various sources, to not actually do anything with this title - which makes sense given the game only uses about 12% of my GPU

also it utiliza my cpu and gpu i dont know why people are saying this but i am having sometimes 100 usage of gpu and some 70 on cpu..i think you have to upgrade the pc

yeah people with 4th gen intel or ryzen 3600 mine is just fine....both cpu gpu have the same load and usage 11600 3060ti
