You're WRONG about classes. Here's Why.
Before you simply read the title and downvote, please allow me to explain. (Repost from Reddit).

So we're about a week away from 2042 early access release date. There's been a lot of anger around 2042 not having classes, some people even refusing to buy the game simply for that reason. Many argue one of the biggest reasons for having classes is that it allows you to quickly identify what kit someone might be running and how big of a threat they truly are, or how they can help you as a teammate. Let me explain how that may not be the case. Let me go through the arguments class-by-class.

ASSAULT/MEDIC: The "generic" soldier. Everybody knows what he looks like and what kit he is running. When you see the medic you know he can run into cover, heal up quickly and then re-engage you with more health, but let's take a closer look at the people who play this class. The majority of people who play medic do not do so because they want to help the team, they do so because they want to help THEMSELVES. The medic is gonna be the most aggressive player in the game. Hopping around corners, killing some enemies then hopping back into cover to heal. Most people identify this players kit not by his appearance, but by his overly aggressive playstyle.

SUPPORT: Very easy to identify by the ammo bandolier around his chest and the giant backpack. This is the guy you run up to and request ammo from... But he doesn't drop any. So you keep requesting ammo, but he still doesn't drop any, then another teammate come running up and drops you some. You see, the first guy only chose support because he wanted to use a LMG, he doesn't care about the rest of the kit. Any TRUE support player will look for YOU, not the other way around. So it doesn't matter what they look like. And how do you truly identify that guy trying to blow up your tank with C4? Do you look for a backpack, or do you look for the guy making a straight B-line towards you without a weapon in his hands?

SCOUT: How do you know they guy you just ran into has a sniper and is at a disadvantge in a CQC fight, or advantage in a more ranged fight? Is it the uniform? What if he's running a PDW or a shotgun? Or is it the scope glint and the crack of the sniper round whizzing by your head? How do you know there's a spawn beacon nearby? Is it by turning the corner and seeing a scout, or is it by looking up and seeing 3 scope glints on top of a building and watching people continously come from a place there is no spawn by default.

ENGINEER: Saved this one for last as the argument for this one makes a lot more sense. Seeing a guy run around with a giant rocket launcher strapped to the back makes it pretty obvious that this guy has AT capability and is a pretty clear threat to people in vehicles. But is this truly bound to the class or just one item on the model? What if 2042 just made it so that anyone running a rocket launcher would have one strapped to their back? Does that not fix the problem?

If you've been playing BF for the past 10 years, you'd know that these arguments for classes only apply to BF3, 4 and 1. Although in some instances BF1's classes can be more difficult to tell apart. When we look at BFV however...
BFV has classes, yes, but no visual distinction between them AT ALL. You can customize every single class to look EXACTLY the same. No rocket launcher on the backs of people running AT.

What region are you playing? I have seen some of the stuff you write but never in that combination ever.

There are some bad medics sometimes but most of the medics i played with were generally really selfless and were mostly responsible for our team winning.

Snipers are useless in almost all circumstances except for rush because of their beacon. They are easily the most important class in rush.

Engineers are always great if you comunicate well enough that you need one for your helo or tank.

Support are deaf and blind and useless and i understand your frustration with them. but there are always exceptions. Lmg with bipod are great in defensive positions though as the enemies cant hit anything while suppressed.

Just look at how everyone played in the beta.. No one knew anything, no ammo, people ran past dying players and it was just badly implemented.
Offcourse everyone was playing for real and where not testing there PC/graphics and exploring the map and different weapons. No one bothered the teamplay, because you could not even play with your friends.
