Steam does not offer install even though pre-purchased months ago

Hello, I pre-purchased months ago and have been checking every day to try and play the beta, but there is no install option on steam. Steam clearly shows the game is uninstalled but in my steam library. When I go to the purchase page it says the game is already in my steam library. I am not sure if this is a bug in steam, but I am kind of stuck and wondering should I ask for a refund? or can steam fix this?

I went to the store page, as suggested above, and I do not see any link for requesting beta access link. Not sure what is the problem.

I found that the game doesn't appear in my Steam library when I have the Steam library set to small mode. But if I set it to large mode, Bf 2042 appears in it. Might try switching the view mode.

I actually do have the larger library mode setting currently and I do see the game in my steam library it just does not offer an install option.

You were right, every time i get conned into trying it. Refunded after 2 hours of playing the beta. I understand its a 'beta' ... sure it is a month before the games due. And it looks worse in every way than a battlefield game (BC2) from 10+ years ago. Disgusting!

There is always a chance it could end up a great game, but there is really nothing to lose by waiting a week or a month after it's actually released to find out. EA in particular should never be trusted with preorder money. Maybe Portal will be amazing and address all the complaint about the main game, or the day before launch they'll say most of the promised launch features are delayed until next year. That's the EA way.
