Pre-order and support good developers

This game is being developed by some of the best in the industry. If you remember BF3 AND MW2 , those were industry standards back in the day. They have Vince Zampella working on this title and he was lead with MW2 which was AMAZING before Activision came along and destroyed Call of Duty. I pre-ordered the Ultimate Edition and whatever you think, I am happy to spend my money and I have good faith in this team.

I have played on PC on launch on all previous BF games these past 10 years. None of them have been cheater infested on launch.

Yeah i'm overreacting, go and see bfv forums how people cry about cheaters there. You know that engine is being updated non stop? by security, performance etc.. and if source code is leaked for a game there will be 100% cheat feast at launch and after it, i think you don't know what exactly it means.

Doesn't work that way.

The anti cheat could still detect all of these cheats that tries to modify the game or hook into the game to give them advantage.

VAC for instance is built around detecting known cheats and it detects a ton of them. It wouldn't matter if the cheaters had the source code for CSGO or CSS, their cheats would still be detected the moment someone reports in that cheat.


People posting on a forum about cheaters are just those that spots them. They pale in comparison to the actual player amount on the game.

To be fair, I have never encountered a highly unoptimized "CP 2077" Battlefield ever, yes there were issues with BF 4 with netcode etc but performance wise? NAH

I'd like to note that, without actual evidence, this appears to apply more to you than it does to them.
If you have no expertise in this field and merely take forum posts as "evidence", then I suggest you to not comment on the matter at all.
Most likely, the best the source code can do for the cheat creators is to make exploits in the engine more evident. Which could only be there because they didn't care to fix it, because no one sees it anyway (security through obfuscation, a common theme with proprietary software).
If those parts have been leaked, they absolutely can just go over it and start closing (or attempt to close) the gaps.
And there's a good chance that none of this matters at all, because what they really have to do is bypass the anti-cheat, hiding any and all modification/code injections they do.

So again, having the source code of something doesn't automatically mean that you're now able to fully control the very same (or similar) source code executed on an end you have no control over. If it was that easy, the internet would be dead by now, because everyone can look up the source code of what a majority of servers is using.

Should I get Standard or Gold? I don't have BF1 and BFV but from my experience with BF4, there was premium queue which is somewhat nice, but what I care the most is DLC maps, sadly, most of the BF4 servers don't have DLC maps.

BF5 was also made by some of the best in the industry... look how that tu*d came out :)))) continue to be a paying pleb though, EA thanks you for your $$$ while they will terminate this game development in 2-3 years max :)

Right... at least call of duty does something with PC cheaters. Majority (95 percent) of all online cheats are from the PC.
