1. Absolutely nothing wrong with pre-ordering if you're not on the fence about playing (I,E; long time BF veterans).
2. State your reason(s) why you think people shouldn't pre-order. Don't just say "Don't pre-order", there's no substance to it.
3. It's not your money. Don't tell others how to spend theirs.
But the choice is yours and $$ spent on games doesn't have a return on investment for most. You either get enjoyment and you get some sort return based on that or you don't and hopefully can get a refund. (smart money is on being able to max the min investment for max entertainment/ enjoyment.
This!! Agreed,
If your comfortable with spending it, Spend it.
Your the one whose gotta live with the purchase at the end of the day. If your on the fence wait. give yourself a day to think about the purchase.
if you still want to spend in a day.. spend it, if not save it for something else. or better yet find a investment to dump the $$ into and if it pays out well take some of that extra $$ and buy it then...
Now
1. If your on the fence about battlefield, and have not played any of the previous entries don't pre-order until closer to the launch date.
2, evaluate the game based on personal likes and play styles using YouTube and previous battlefield games. focus on the last two entries for graphics and feel. as this will give you the basic expectations for visuals and game play flow.
3, look at the games listed in the trailers and YouTube videos for map layout and tips. as the classic maps from these games make a updated return.
Finally, if your like me and my friends who have played games since the 90's and some of us have a significant period of military experience and some of my friends don't with both have fun. Sometimes we play tactically, the idea is to have tons of fun, and sometimes we hop on to game and just F*ck around and still have a blast.. mainly this series as well as some of the duty.. but its a game not for everyone, and like anything mileage and value varies for everyone..
