When I looked on Origin it says that the pre-load is not available till November 10. This of course confused the hell out of me since the beta description states October 5th.

So will we be allowed to download the game through Steam on October 5th?

Youre thinking of the preload for the full game not the beta.

Beta preload regardless of platform is October 5th with early access running 6th to 8th, then open to all 8th to the 10th.
