Could you maybe send me the following folder:
Petz Horsez 2\Asset\Standard\Database\Feature\Rank
As far as I am concerned I am specifically missing the level 3 comp cros 1 file.
Thank you so much!
Hi li.chen I am sorry this reply is a bit late. If you or anyone else reading still needs help, what you can do is go to that same folder and copy the level 2 comp cross file and rename it to level 3. Then you can go into the file and change the values inside it to make it more challenging yourself if you want.
Thankfully many of the files in this game are in plain text. You can do a lot to play around with the game to make it more fun.
One of the things I found essential was changing the time it takes to do tasks because by default they are impossibly long. To do this, go to the game file > Asset > Standard > Database > Feature > DayMng and open the file called DayMng_Gameplaytime.txt (or named similarly). Each item is pretty easy to guess what it is, if you’re not sure you can play around with trial and error. The numbers next to it are the number of minutes the task takes up. You can set that to whatever you think is appropriate.
Make sure you always back up the original file. You can just rename the original file to something else like name_original.txt and leave it in the same folder.
You can also mess around with your game saves by going into the save folder.
A lot of the weird decisions the development team made can be fixed by playing around with the game files which are easily edited in plain text.
This is actually one of my favourite games ever, or would be if it had better graphics. The horses are just so bad haha. I wish they made a remake!! The potential horse game market is a huge, hardly tapped potential! Star Stable for example is actually one of the most played MMORPGs on the market even though most gamers would never have heard of it!
