Same here, have Logitech G923 with Shifter and have to use keyboard. Pointless

My Logitech G920 isn't recognized, either.

I've played demos of two other games that have steering wheel support, and neither of them actually have steering wheel support for the demo versions!

Also sme problem. YDriving school without wheel, pedals and shifter is a little bit pointless. I really don't think i'll using mouse of gamepad while driving on routes :) Maybe support will be add later.

Hey there, the latest patch for VDS should help with steering wheel and VR support issues. It would be great if you could try it out again and then get back to us

What latest patch? Steam never notified me of a download pending for Virtual Driving School.

Hi, I have been looking into the issue and I have added a wheel input preview window into the settings screen to view your active inputs while setting up input binding for your wheel.

To see the wheel input preview from the main menu go to
Settings -> Key Bindings -> Select "SteeringWheel" -> Wheel Input Preview is in the bottom centre of the screen

If there are still issues please let me know and I will look further into this issue.

If your inputs are set up correctly but you aren't able to drive the car make sure you have the steering wheel selected as your active input device. This can be set in the Keybindings screen Screen Image reference[i.imgur.com], this also can be set from the controls screen in the options.

I updated my game, and I'm still having trouble. I even tried disconnecting my controller believing that it was interfering with my wheel, and it made no difference.

I have the G29 Logitech and also isn't recognized

Thank you for your feedback, we are looking further into the issue and are buying a G29 wheel to debug this issue further. The wheels that we have tested so far that work have been the Logitech G27 and Fanatec Clubsport v2.5.
Hopefully when we find what is causing issues for the modern Logitech wheels that the Thrustmaster wheels will work as well.

I am using a Simucube 2 Pro base with Cube controls Formula Pro wheel and Heusinkveld Sprint pedals and none of them are detected by the game.

I also have the Logictec 920, the wheel works, and so does the gas pedel, but the break and clutch are not recognized. For some reason it says there is 64 buttons but that is not the case. Also, the dpad should be a pov hat by default. There should be an option for automatic. I look forward to purchasing this for my teenagers to practice driving on, I think it is a great concept.
