Failed to load mono

I havent changed anything since the last time ive played the game but now i cant play anymore because everytime i want to start the game it says ''failed to load mono''.

Does anyone know how to fix it??

Hi and sorry for your issue. You could try the following to fix it:

Right click The Past Within in your Steam Library
Go to Properties
Go to Local files
Click Verify integrity of game files

If this does not fix it I am afraid you will need to reinstall the game.

Did not help :(. I am still getting the issue both after verifying the files and reinstalling the whole game...

Make sure your anti-virus isn't killing some files. Especially if you've got AVG or Avast.
