Turn the Tap at the Start?

Hi,

I'm at the start, and have turned the tap once. Now the light shines directly on the tap, and it won't let me swipe/turn it to the right again, so I'm stuck.

If I look at Walkthru YouTube videos, the light is to the right of the tap, and it's easy to swipe/turn it twice?

What am I doing wrong?

The game just bug out, it happen to me twice before, simply restart the game if you encounter future issues like these since the game save like every 3 or 5 minutes anyway.
