Controller support?

Sorry, but as far as I know the PC version does not have controller support.

Don't quote me on that, though. I have not exactly tried plugging in a controller myself, so there is a possibility that I am totally out in the blue here.

Yep, definitively one of the best ones I've ever played. Goes right up to the top amongst other great ones such as Star Control 2 and Supreme Commander.

Use pinnacle Game Profiler. It allows you to emulate the control with many different controllers. I play it with a 360 pad.

I don't understand why it does not have controller support since it came from the console games in the first place it seems a little odd really.

Because developers used to be very lazy porting console games to PC in that time...we had no steam, it was far worse.

It doesn't support controllers because they did a lazy port and didnt go for the better 360 HD remake.. I bought this game, thinking it was the HD version. Sadly I will plug my 360 back in if I want to play this game.

BTW, the Uplay version supports gamepad, I used my Xbox One controller.

The Uplay version doesn't use it, no version does at all so you must be using software for it.

The uplay version supports gamepad out of the box with no external software needed. I am using an xbox controller and the game has xbox controller prompts on screen.

Controller Support is in the Uplay Version. I tried it myself earlier. Now if they could fix the Textures Glitch as it is hard to do anything with textures all over the screen glitching.
