Is the ubisoft store version of this game better?

This steam version is kinda disappointing. It’s extremely buggy and lacks controller support. I’m tempted to buy the Ubisoft store version as I’ve seen two different store fronts on pc offer the same game but one works while the steam version not so much. However, I can’t find any forums on the ubisoft store to verify the problems it has on that version.

So has anyone else here bought the Ubisoft store version and what are it’s faults compared to the steam version. Most importantly does it offer controller support? Driving the balooga on keyboard isn’t very fun for me.

Steam version was updated at the end of 2019, and got controller support and several languages. I beleive, now it's functionally identical to Ubi one. Can be wrong though.

For me, the better version if from gog.com and I can play in my language.

well I be... everything except the wide screen seems fixed on first redownload. gotta remember how to fix that
