Beyond Good & Evil

Any way to get Xbox 360 controller support?
Given the new sequel's trailer at E3 and the critical acclaim this game has garnered over the past 14 years, I really really want to play my copy but it's unbearable on keyboard for me, and the only controller I have is my Xbox 360 controller. Is there any software or outside way to have it work because I'd really like to share the love this game's fanbase has.

Also would prefer using a controller. Using keyboard and mouse is annoying. Especially because the camera is retarded

You can start Steam big picture mode with the home button on the Xbox 360 controller (you might need to adjust the game dvr settings in windows 10 first). Then in big picture, go to settings, controller settings, and enable Xbox configuration. (You also need to "add" your controller on that same page.)

Then go back to library and hit BG&E and go to controller options and you'll see the xbox controller. Steam already sets it up for wasd with the mouse on the right stick, but you can adjust everything.

Start the game and try it out. The game will still give you KB prompts, but you can check the Steam big picture overlay and set the Xbox buttons to whatever keyboard or mouse input you need for BG&E.

I personally prefer the Steam controller for this kind of game, but the Xbox 360 works well, too.

(I'm using a custom shortcut to the GOG version, but the Steam version should be the same.)

Just use Xpadder. I'm using Steam Controller, essentially the same thing. Mapped mouse and keyboard to gamepad; the only problem is that control hints would show keyboard buttons but you get used easily. Works well. SC is probably better because it's great at controlling the mouse via the trackpad.
