Gunfire Loop Sound Effect Patched with a mod
I tryed yesterday this mod : "Graphics mod - Realistic ReShade -" with en friend and the gunfire loop sound effect disapear. Maybe you can try it if you want. There is 2 negatives points : the colorimetry is changed and the game can only run in english. This mod is comptatible with the mod for the FOV : "WFVM".

ps : you still need to mute other players to avoid the gunfire loop bug sound effect

Mod didn’t work even with all 3 people with it and we muted each other too which was another tip.

Of course random .ini values changes won't fix the many glaring audio issues with this game's audio implementation. Specially when 99% of those .ini changes have zero, nothing, zilch to do with UE3's audio engine shenanigans. Both Vegas games had tons of audio issues (on PC) on release. Game suffered from poor production and direction from the leads. Ubi Montreal in a nutshell.

If true, then maybe that's why the story in Vegas 2 seems sort of simplified ? In Vegas 1 they where implying someone else was commanding everything when Irena was talking to an unknown voice, ( this voice would be reused for commander radio voices in Vegas 2 ).Unless that was Gabriel using a proxy maybe ? Simply guessing though.
