Zero Tier lets you create a private virtual network with your friends and you can then play via "LAN" despite it being over Internet. It has automatic network discovery so you will see your friends' running servers in list without having to type an IP etc.
I stopped using Hamachi because it was become more and more annoying to install, like asking me to install other softwares the previous time I used it IIRC. Don't know if it still works.
on the steam version i think i was able to get into Terrorist Hunts
could be faulty memory ofc, so are the servers taken down now?
