I'm not denying that previous Rainbow Six games were awesome but they are old. . . Still I prefer them to Rainbow Six Siege, Siege isn't a Rainbow six at all specially recent years it went too far from what was in the mind of Tom Clancy . . . It was good in first couple years but right now it's more like a Overwatch or a Battle-Arena game . . .
This Rainbow Six game supposed to release on 2013 but it cancelled to became victim for a PVP Rainbow Six game : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tom_Clancy%27s_Rainbow_6:_Patriots
Also take a look at this to see how Rainbow Six Siege introduced VS Reality :

Same as Ghost Recon Break-Point, I don't dislike it just because it's future gadgets, Ghost Recon Future Soldier has future gadgets too, But Break-point is far away from Tom Clancy thoughts. . . Rest in Peace for Tom Clancy, His titles could go in a much better condition if he would be still alive. . .
BTW Rockstar-Games and Ubisoft are my most favorite Game Companies since my childhood which I have played and like every one of their titles, But Rockstar stuck in GTA V for many years yet and it's obvious that Ubisoft isn't like old times anymore.
Even NPC A.I for old Ubisoft games were much better than it's new ones, For an example simply compare the A.I of this game in both stealth and combat situations with it's newer games like Ghost Recon Break-Point and Far Cry 6 to see how much old Ubisoft games were ahead of it's recent games . . .
