Getting multiplayer to work

I've tried port forwarding, having my friends port forward, hosting a game, having them host a game, and Hamachi but none of them work. I tried Tunngle but i couldn't get the thing to work and it's a pain in the ass and i'd rather not use it.

Anyone know how to play multiplayer without tunngle?

when siege first came out it was perfect, as soon as they started adding all the overwatch hero characters like caveira, the game became a overwhelming headache with unrealistic fantasy like gadgets, this company seems to ruin everything that was once good. They are the best at that . Nothing will come close to these older games

I've never seen anyone succeed in using Gameranger on R6V2. We've been recommending Zerotier. We've got this document that helps a lot https://docs.google.com/document/d/1AKkxdD0_wLGxqNJZwVWD7jSwZXraERJrXjFOEmjl7GQ/edit

Coop work only as a LAN you can use invite your friend in steam, or you can use hamachi or similar LAN client and you can play game in coop with your friends.

Can you explain what you mean by invite your friend in steam? If I'm understanding you correctly this is exciting news for me, you can use steam in place of a VLAN?

Damn, I wanted to install the game again and play some coop with my friend :/ I hope they will fix it. At least I still got good old SWAT 4 :) People still play it. You just need to download online patch and maybe Special Elite Force mod, since its the one people play the most and you are ready to go :) And btw you can get Swat 4 Gold free around the interent. See you on the field ;)

Thanks for your reply. I'm glad to hear that the team is looking into this issue. Even though its an old game from 2008. Many other developer probably just abandoned it. This is Ubisoft we're talking about so its kind of a surprise they even care :))

CAN YOU STILL PLAY ONLINE COOP TERRORIST HUNT IN THIS GAME ?

I just bought this game and immediately love it and i wanna buy it for my friend to play coop with him but i heard the multiplayer server has been closed by ubisoft so i have a doubt feeling to buy it for my friend since i cant play it with him if the server has been actually closed

You can still play online with a friend if you both download a VLAN like ZeroTierOne or RadminVPN
