I'm happy to hear you were able to fix the issue you were encountering with your wired Xbox One Controller on Rainbow Six Vegas 1 and 2! Thank you for also sharing the workaround you found on this forum to possibly help other players in your situation ^-^

So glad to see this is helping players, thanks again FPS Fan!
I've added an award as a little thanks. :)

The files for RSV2 are different, but the process is the same. The two files seem to be:
<INSTALL_DIR>/KellerGame/Config/PCKellerJoysticks.ini
<INSTALL_DIR>/KellerGame/Config/DefaultJoysticks.ini
Thanks for sharing your tips for RSV1.
Let's hope another helpful friend will share their workaround for RSV2.
@Blue, I'm glad you managed to make it work on your game, all thanks to FPS Fan, what an MVP.

Hey Maniac5000,
Sorry to hear you're still having issues!
Have you also tried toggling the Xbox Configuration Support on / off?
You can access this by going to Steam > Settings > Controller > General Controller Settings.
Let us know if there's any change!

No worries TheIcemanCometh, thanks for clarifying! :)

Hey Maniac5000,
I'm afraid that as post launch support and development has ended for Rainbow Six: Vegas 2, there are no such patches or future updates planned for the game.
As such - there will be no further controller support implemented.
For further clarity - we are Ubisoft Support agents and are not developers or part of the development team for Vegas 2 or any other titles we support on the forums.
Apologies for the disappointment caused and if there's anything more we can answer, please let us know!
